Starting with a fish and chip supper, the way all good stories start…

Friends gathered at the church hall and enjoyed an evening of fellowship. The fish and chips were delivered; and with options as imaginative as beans, peas or chilli, nothing was left to chance!

A very light hearted and, yet, nail bitingly competitve quiz ensued. With 6 differently themed rounds, all academic and silly questions were covered.

And with the world set to rights, all political decisions debated, national policy corrected, the weary travellers went home to a sound sleep, the way all good stories end…
