Messy Church

Messy Saints at All Saints Church, Sapcote

All Saints Messy Church started on the first Sunday in March 2014 and we have now been running for about 4 years! We usually meet on the first Sunday of the month at 4 pm for ten months of the year. However, we do have a rest in January and August each year. Our sessions start with a range of craft activities linked to a bible based theme. We aim to provide a selection of activities and challenges for all ages. We even have a baby corner with toys suitable for younger children (and soft chairs and refreshments for parents to enjoy time together).  Following the activity time, we move into a short time of worship and then we go across into the hall for tea!

The dates and themes for 2018 are

March 4th – Love rules (Martha’s story)

March 31st (Saturday 10.15 for 10.30)- Easter Bonnet parade (A joint Messy Church with Sapcote Methodists)

May 13th – The Holy Spirit (Pentecost and the fruits of the spirit)

June 3rd – Pets and peace (Reconciliation)

July 1st – Journeys – Paul’s adventures in the book of Acts

Sept  2nd- Our community – Small start, huge impact.

October 7th – Harvest

November 4th – Money Matters

December 2nd – T.B.C.

We have a team of leaders who enjoy the Messy Church experience and who enjoy sharing their faith with others.
